The Early Childhood Education & Educational Assistant program is designed to train graduates to provide quality services for young children and their families. It is developed to comply with the National Guidelines for Training in Early Childhood Care and Education.
The program is also designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to assist classroom teachers in inclusive educational settings. The program combines theory and practical applications for elementary and secondary age students in the K–12 school system.
Students can choose to take both Early Childhood Education and Educational Assistant courses or they may take only the courses pertaining to either Early Childhood Education or Educational Assistant. Tuition is the same. Students who select both programs broaden their employment opportunities.
